Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in the New Year Tree of Wishes campaign

On December 24, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, State Counsellor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev, Chairman of the regional State Council Farid Mukhametshin and members of the parliament joined the New Year Tree of Wishes national campaign.

Minnkkhanov picked up a card with a wish from 11-year-old Amirkhan Sadykov, who dreams to fly a helicopter with his sister.  

Shaimiev will make the dream of 17-year-old Anton Nasretdinov, who dreams of a laptop, come true.

Mukhametshin picked a card with a wish from Amir Fayzrakhmanov. Amir is 7 years old and he dreams of a toy railway with a train.

Later on the same day, more people will join the New Year Tree of Whishes campaign during the winner award ceremony of the Leader of the Year Public Contest at the Pyramida Entertainment Complex in Kazan.

The campaign was organized by the Dream with Me All-Russian charity project, which started in 2014 as a volunteer initiative in Tatarstan. Last year, Russian President Vladimir Putin joined the campaign. This year, the leader of the desire will make the dream of 10-year-old Andrei Kochetov - to visit the Krasnaya Polyana ski resort in Sochi – come true. Minnikhanov also took part in the campaign in 2018.
