On 22 June, speaking at a regular meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that the Tatar national holiday Sabantuy will take place on three sites in Kazan and the BRICS Games closing ceremony will be held in the Village of Mirnyy on 23 June.

On 22 June, the Day of Remembrance and Mourning, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov began a regional meeting with the moment of silence. 

“Today remembrance events are held in all cities and regions. The VI All-Russia Festival of Historical Reconstruction Elbadan-2024 will be held today and tomorrow in the village of Alvidino the birthplace of the Hero of the Soviet Union Petr Gavrilov, the defender of the Brest Fortress.

On 21 June, speaking at his meeting with Kazakhstan Minister of Tourism and Sports Ermek Marzhikpaev in Kazan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that Tatarstan and Kazakhstan have very warm and close relations both in economy and in culture. “We should ramp up cooperation in the spheres of tourism and sports,” he stressed. 

On 21 June, speaking at his meeting with the Vice-President of the Russian-Asian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RASPP) Aleksey Fedotov, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov underlined the importance of work with the Union for strengthening Russia-China relations. 

On 21 June the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the State Counselor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev, the Mayor of Turkestan region Darkhan Satybaldy and the Akim of Kyzysorda region Nurlybek Nalibayev took part in festive events dedicated to Sabatuy Holiday at the Kazan Racecourse. 

On 21 June the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Mayor of Turkestan region Darkhan Satybaldy, the Akim of Kyzysorda region Nurlybek Nalibayev and the Extraordinary Counselor of the Russian Government in Sports Oleg Matytsin attended competitions in koresh (national combat sports) at the BRICS Games in the Ak Bars Combat Sports Palace. 

On 21 June in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the Mayor of the city of Groznyy Khas-Magomed Kadyrov and the Mayor of the city of Argun Iles Masaev who came to Kazan to take part in an international forum of cities of BRICS+ member-countries which will be held with participation of about 200 Mayors, Vice-Mayors, heads of municipal amalgamations and local power body associations from 21 countries.

On 20 June the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov went on a working trip to Blue Lakes near Kazan where he had a working meeting with the interdepartmental team working on implementation of the concept of development of nature conservation area of Blue Lakes.  

Blue lakes are a unique nature sanctuary popular with residents and guests of Kazan. However uncontrolled visits caused ecological deterioration of the territory and the main idea of the concept is to create comfortable conditions for tourists at the same time treating the nature carefully. 

On 19 June Tatarstan First Deputy Prime Minister Rustam Nugmatullin introduced the new Head Azat Kadyrov, who previously was the Russian First Deputy Minister of Sports, to the staff of Tatarstan Ministry of Land and Property Relations.

By the decree of the Rais of the republic, Fanil Agliullin, who was the Head of the Ministry since 2019, has been appointed the acting Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan responsible for reconstruction of sponsored cities of Lisichansk and Rubezhnoye. 

On 19 June the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers Shamil Gafarov and the President of the regional Academy of Sciences Rifkat Minnikhanov took part in a meeting of the organizing committee for preparation and holding the fifth International Forum Kazan Digital Week 2024 held in the Government House of the republic by Russian Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media Maksud Shadayev, who took part in it via videoconference.
