On February 14, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov gave an errand to the regional government to prepare a programme for the comprehensive overhaul of a number of cultural facilities in Kazan.

On February 14, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov signed a number of decrees. In particular, he signed decrees to relieve Adel Vafin of his duty of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan in connection with his transfer to another job and appoint Marat Sadikov the Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On February 13, speaking at a meeting of the local Council of Zelenodolsk municipal region dedicated to the results of social and economic development in 2017 and tasks for 2018, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Zelenodolsk region is one of the largest municipalities of the republic with its own specific features.

On February 13, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated Russian figure skater Alina Zagitova on a silver medal at the Olympics in PyeongChang. The sportswoman won a silver medal in the team tournament of figure skaters.

On February 12, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated Tatarstan figure skater Evgeniya Tarasova on a brilliant performance at the Olympics in PyeongChang. Evgeniya Tarasova together with Vladimir Morozov won silver of the team tournament of figure skaters.
