On February 17, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov sent the telegram of congratulations to President of Cross-country ski federation of Russia Elena Vyalbe, Chairman of Dinamo sports society Asgat Safarov, President of the Tatarstan Federation of ski race and biathlon Ilshat Fardiev, coach Aleksey Zorin and Russia’s master of sports of international class Anna Nechaevskaya.

On February 17, at the Volga Region State Academy of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism, on the sidelines of the Regional Forum of Student Young Workers “By deed, not by word”, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov awarded the best student work team. About 1200 delegates from different universities took part in the event.

On February 17, in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Director General of the Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation Aleksey Likhachev, Director of the Russian Federal Nuclear Centre – All-Russian Research Institute of Experimental Physics Valentin Kostyukov took part in a meeting to sum up the preliminary results of joint work between Tatarstan and Rosatom Corporation.

On February 17, speaking at a regional video-conference, at the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic - Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov reported on the results of work on the transfer of the overhead communication lines to underground network. 

On February 17, speaking at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and all regional municipalities in the Government House of the republic, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin reported that as of February 16, as many as 628,600 square metres of housing have been commissioned in Tatarstan, which makes 26.2 per cent of the plan for 2018 and 161.3 per cent as compared to the same period last year.

On February 16, Tatarstran Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a meeting of the local Council of Leninogorsk municipal region of the republic to sum up the results of social and economic development of the region in 2017 and set tasks for 2018.

On February 16, on Friday, on the sidelines of the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi, during the meeting of the head of government with governors, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov appealed to Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev with a request to limit the turnover of powder milk in the country.

On February 15, on the sidelines of the Russian Investment Forum “Sochi-2018”, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a panel session "Is it easy to be an entrepreneur? The view of business and government”, with Sberbank CEO and Chairman of the Board German Gref being the moderator. The event was broadcast live on the “Russia 24” TV channel.
