On May 29, in Kazan, speaking at an honoring ceremony of the winners and prize-winners of the 7th Young Professionals (WorldSkills Russia) Competition, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the victory of the Tatarstan national team in the final of the competition is the result of a great work on the development of the WorldSkills movement. The aim is not just to take part and win in the competitions, but, first of all, to gain the best world techniques, technologies and standards introduced by the Worldskills movement into the educational system. This gives young people the opportunity to be competitive and in demand in the modern labour market.

On May 29, at his office at the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Dagestan mufti Akhmad Khadzhi Abdulayev, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to get acquainted with the historical monuments of the Tatar people in the field of spiritual culture.
