Rustam Minnikhanov votes in primary election organized by the United Russia Party

On May 26, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a primary election organized by the United Russia Party. Following the results of the primaries, a list of candidates for their subsequent nomination as people’s deputies of the State Council of Tatarstan will be made.

The preliminary voting is held in all municipalities of the republic. As many as 222 candidates are taking part in the primaries. The organizing committee have arranged 460 counting sections. A total of 800,000 ballots have been produced in Tatarstan, including 400,000 items for single-mandate districts and 400,000 items for a consolidated electoral district.
