Address of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov on International Anti-Corruption Day.

“Dear Tatarstan citizens! The world is changing rapidly, and this undoubtedly creates new challenges, new changes in the political, economic and social spheres.

In these circumstances, the Russian Federation is aimed at strengthening its force, independence and economic sovereignty.

On 8 December a presentation of a new Master-Plan on development of Kazan International Airport by 2050 was made at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Airport held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic.

On 8 December , addressing the participants of  a closing session of the International Forum dedicated to 50th anniversary of the Convention for Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage held in Kazan on 5-8 December, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chairman of UNESCO Commission for Tatarstan, expressed his gratitude to all those who did and are doing huge work in the sphere of preservation and use of cultural and natural heritage and development of international humanitarian cooperation.

On 8 December at his meeting with the Kudermetov sports dynasty in the Government house of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov stressed the great contribution of the family into the development of sports in the republic.  The father of the family Eduard Kudermetov is Master of sports of Russia in hockey, who after completion of his career in sports started coaching his daughters Veronica and Polina in lawn tennis.

On 7 December Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Minister of Construction and the Utilities Sector Irek Fayzullin, the State Counselor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev, regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, the acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin. The Minister of Construction, Architecture and Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin and representatives of construction organizations and departments took part in a ceremonial event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the construction branch of the republic held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center.

On 7 December at their working meeting on the sidelines of the event dedicated to 100th anniversary of construction industry of the republic held at Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Minister of Construction and the Utilities Sector Irek Fayzullin discussed implementation of federal and regional construction projects in the republic.

On 7 December at their meeting in the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin, who came on a working trip to Tatarstan to take part in the regional machine-building forum, discussed spheres for cooperation which could be of interest for both regions.

On December 7, at their meeting on the sidelines of Tatarstan Machine-Building Forum at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the member of the Board of the Military Industrial Commission Vyacheslav Shport discussed the development of the industrial sector of the republic and the implementation of promising projects in import substitution.

On December 6, in Vysokaya Gora region of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a regular meeting with representatives of the business community moderated by Commissioner for the Protection of the Entrepreneurs’ Rights in Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev.

On December 6, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who arrived on a working visit in the Vysokogorsky region of the republic, looked around the building of the Military Registration and Enlistment Office after the overhaul.
