Rutsam Minnikhanov: The most important construction projects have been implemented by builders in Tatarstan for the century long history of the branch

On 7 December Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Minister of Construction and the Utilities Sector Irek Fayzullin, the State Counselor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev, regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, the acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin. The Minister of Construction, Architecture and Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin and representatives of construction organizations and departments took part in a ceremonial event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the construction branch of the republic held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center.

Congratulating construction workers of the republic by video conference, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin said: “Tatarstan construction workers have been always marked for their professionalism and high work quality. Today the construction complex of the republic takes active part in building facilities both in Tatarstan and other regions of Russia. This date is especially important for me as for ten years I have worked as the Minister of Construction of the republic”. 

In his turn Irek Fayzullin said that the regional construction ministry is one of the strongest in the country. ” I wish you that the system developed in the construction branch of the republic is still in place and is always working actively”. 

Rustam Minnihanov stated that for these 100 years the construction workers have implemented the most important construction projects such as building industrial capacities, modern social and sports facilities, public spaces and transport infrastructure facilities and reconstructed unique architectural monuments. 

“For 100 years they have erected whole cities of Naberezhnyye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk,  Almetyevsk and IT-city of Innopolis and we are justifiably proud of achievements of our architects, builders and all masters of their trade”, Rustam Minnihanov said, addressing participants of the event. 

He said that the unique look of Tatarstan facilitates tourist potential and “that it is not by chance that the monument to Tatar and Russian architects has been erected in the Kazan Kremlin”.

Having mentioned old stagers of the branch and labour dynasties of builders, Rustam Minnikhanov said: “”Efforts of architects and builders transform cities and villages of the republic. I am sure that great construction projects are expecting Tatarstan ahead. I would like to thank all builders for their concerted team work”. 

In his turn Denis Pushilin congratulated representatives of the construction branch of Tatarstan with the anniversary and said he was sure the cooperation between the republic and Donetsk will develop in all directions including the construction branch. 

At an awarding ceremony held after the event, Rustam Minnikhanov handed in Irek Fayzullin the Duslyk (Friendship) Order.
