On January 24, speaking at a summing up meeting of Tatarstan Ministry of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities on the results of its work in 2022 and tasks for 2023 held at the Bashir Rameyev IT-Park in Kazan, with participation of State Counsellor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev, Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing and Utility Services of Russia Nikita Stasishin and First Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Rustam Nigmatullin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that in Tatarstan, for the second year in a row, the volume of commissioned housing exceeded 3 million square meters, which made 102,7 per cent compared to 2021.

On January 24, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering and got acquainted with a new scientific and educational space « Osnovy», consisting of two scientific and educational centres - « Geotechnics» and «Construction».

On 24 January, in the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, the Chairman of the State Council of the republic Farid Mukhametshin, the Head of the President’s Office Asgat Safarov, regional Minister of Sports Vladimir Leovon and other officials took part in a ceremony of honouring the men’s volleyball club Zenyth-Kazan, which won the Russian Volleyball Cup-2022.

On 23 January in Moscow at his working meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov reported about the social and economic situation in the republic, implementation of large infrastructure projects and support provided to new Russian regions.

On January 23, in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of the State Council of the republic Farid Mukhametshin, Deputy Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Nikolay Shishkin and Сhief Federal Inspector for Tatarstan Viktor Demidov took part in an extended summing up meeting of the Prosecutor's Office of Tatarstan on the results of its work in 2022 and the tasks of strengthening law and order in 2023.

On January 23, in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov together with Chairman of the State Council of the republic Farid Mukhametshin took part in an extended summing up meeting of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Tatarstan.

Minister of Internal Affairs in the republic Artyom Khokhorin made a keynote report on the state of affairs in the department and the tasks for the current year.

On January 22, at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Sports Minister Oleg Matytsin and the President of the Russian Special Olympics Olga Slutsker took part in the opening ceremony of the Special Olympics United Games.

On 22 January before the opening ceremony of the Special Olympics United Games, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Sports Minister Oleg Matytsin and the President of the Russian Special Olympics Olga Slutsker met athletes and coaches of the team of the republic, comprising 95 athletes, participating in competitions in 15 kinds of sports, and 18 coaches.

On 22 January Russian Sports Minister Oleg Matytsin and Tatarstan President Aleksey Pesoshin took part in an expanded meeting of the regional Sports Ministry collegium.

In his report regional Minister of Sports Vladimir Leonov informed that 8 athletes from Tatarstan took part in the 24th Winter Olympics held in Beijing, five of them winning Olympic medals. 

On 21 January, speaking at a videoconference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with all municipalities of the republic and with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov informed that by the results of 2022 the amount of regional agribusiness products export made 417m dollars which was by 6.9 per cent more compared to 2021.
