On 30 March in the Kazan Kremlin the Chairman of the Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin handed in state awards of Russia and the republic to 46 people - workers of science and culture, education, healthcare, oil industry and agriculture and public and municipal servants.

On March 29, during his working visit to Tatarstan, First Deputy Chairman of the Military Industrial Commission of the Russian Federation, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev visited enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Tatarstan.

On March 29, First Deputy Chairman of the Military Industrial Commission of the Russian Federation, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan, was met by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov at the Kazan International Airport.

Medvedev is scheduled to visit enterprises of the military-industrial complex of the republic and hold a meeting.

On March 25, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic with participation of Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipal regions of the republic linked via videoconference, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov gave a number of instructions and said that the holy month of Ramadan is coming, iftars are organized.

On 24 March the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Director General of the Rostec state corporation Sergey Chemezov visited the largest aircraft building enterprises of the region, namely the Kazan Aircraft Plant and the Kazan Helicopter Plant which produce civilian planes, dual-capable long-range bombers and different classes of helicopters, which are very important for the transport system and national security of the country.

On 24 March 80 representatives of different Russian regions – students of the RANEPA Executive Master in Public Management (EMPM) programme visited Innopolis.

In his welcoming address to the participants, who are public servants, CEOs of private companies, winners and finalists of the “Leaders of Russia” and the “New Time” projects, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov said: “I also was a student of the RANEPA programme in 2018. It largely helped me in establishment and development of Innopolis which today is the growth point for ensuring technological independence of Russia. I am sure  during the education module you will get new useful connections, borrow the best practices for using them in your everyday work and form a social agenda important for the country. I invite all of you to cooperate with the Innopolis innovational center!”

On 24 March in the Government House of the republic the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Tataneftekhiminvest-holding which considered innovative projects in petrochemical industry.

On 23 March at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Director of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia Arkadiy Gostev  discussed business issues related to the regional penitentiary system and importance of the former convicts social adaptation. 

On March 22, in the Kazan Kremlin, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov handed in state awards to workers of culture and art.

Minnikhanov congratulated the laureates on the upcoming professional holiday - the Day of the Cultural Worker. He emphasized that culture is a fundamental pillar of society, serves to strengthen cohesion, preserve interethnic peace and harmony, and also makes a unique contribution to the upbringing of the younger generation.

On 22 March at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Head of the Volga region Customs Administration Agepsim Ashkalov discussed issues of the Tatarstan Customs business processes and further improvement of Customs procedures and operations.
