Rustam Minnikhanov holds a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Tatneftekhiminvest-holding

On 24 March in the Government House of the republic the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Tataneftekhiminvest-holding which considered innovative projects in petrochemical industry.

Speaking at the meeting, the Head of the Photonics functional materials and technologies lab of the Kazan Physical and Technical Institute of Russian Academy of Sciences Vadim Semashko  told about optic-acoustic technologies  for finding hidden defects of equipment and optic-acoustic tomography that makes it possible to find oncological and cardio-vascular diseases at their early stages. He said that the project will use only domestic materials and developments.

Giving his assessment to the project, the Director General of the holding Rafinat Yarullin said: “I think it is promising for all industries using composite materials and especially in medicine.”

Having reminded about active development of composites production, Rustam Minnikhanov proposed to organize “a round table” to discuss this topic with representatives of industrial companies and medical specialists.

The Director General of the Shock-wave technologies Company from Moscow Aleksey Ognevskiy told participants of the meeting about ways of speeding up chemical processing and reducing cost of fiber production, which can be used for production of yearn, cotton, composite and non-woven fabrics. He also proposed to adapt the developments into industry of Tatarstan as the Tatneft Company and the holding are planning to start working with industrial hemp.

Deputy Chief Designer of centrifugal machines and equipment of the OKBM Afrikantov Ilya Korobov proposed to supply pumps and compressors to petrochemical companies of Tatarstan.

After the Director General of the Adept Company, who is also the developer of the  InsurTech Platform, from St Petersburg Igor Kononov informed about the IT-ecosystem AIIINS for insurance automation, Rustam Minnikhanov proposed to organize a workshop for enterprises representatives in Innopolis.

Deputy Director in Marketing and Sales of the TECHNTRON welding equipment plant from Cheboksary Oleg Getskin made a presentation of modern tubes welding, cutting and gouging technologies.
