On December 1, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the event dedicated to the 230th anniversary of the birth of the scientist, mathematician, one of the rectors of Kazan University (1827-1846) Nikolay Lobachevsky and laid flowers at his monument at the Arsk cemetery in Kazan.

On 30 November in the Government house of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov  held a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Tatneft Oil Company which discussed results of the financial and economic work of the company for nine months of the current year.

On 30 November at their meeting in the Government house of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the President of Russian Academy of Sciences Gennadiy Krasnikov, who came on a working visit to Kazan, discussed issues of further interaction with the regional scientific institutes and development of the applied science.

On 29 November, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who came to Baku as a head of a delegation from the republic, had a meeting with the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Hidayat oglu Asadov. 

On 29 November during his working trip to Baku, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Azerbaijan Minister of Economy Mikail Djabbarov. 

“Our visit is related to necessity of further ramping up the development of cooperation and first of all in the economic sphere”, Rustam Minnikhanov said and noted the high interest of Tatarstan enterprises in the Azerbaijan market and the importance of personal business contacts. He said that business forums are an efficient means enabling presentation of the potential of a territory in the whole and of separate companies. 

On 29 November, speaking at the Tatarstan- Azerbaijan business forum , which gathered representatives of large industrial enterprises and businesses from both republics, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who came on a business trip to Baku, said: “There is a significant potential for expanding our interaction between our republics in supplying produce of petrochemical and machine-building branches of Tatarstan, developing relations in the spheres of investments  and innovative production, high technologies, ship and car building, healthcare and production of medical items and pharmaceuticals, as well as in cooperation of our chambers of commerce”. 

On 29 November during the working visit of a delegation from Tatarstan to Baku, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. 

“I want to express my appreciation for the attention you attach to the development of relations between our republics, which are aimed at strengthening relations between Russia and Azerbaijan”, Tatarstan President said. 

On 28 November Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who came on a working trip to Azerbaijan, met representatives of Tatar public organization of the country.

Currently there are more than 27 000 Tatars living in Azerbaijan and several organizations working in the republic, including the Center of Tatar Youth Yashlek, the Regional Society of Tatar Culture Tugan Tel. public union Tatarstan and the branch of the Tatar women society Ak Kalfak in Azerbaijan.

On 28 November a videoconference meeting held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with all regions of the republic in the Government house discussed issues of implementation of regional and federal programmes of capital refurbishment and engineering infrastructure modernization.

On 28 November during their visit to the Specialized Economic Zone (SEZ) of Alabuga, Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturo, who is also the Deputy Prime Minister of the country, and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in launching the serial production of the Aurus Kommendant passenger cars.
