Rustam Minnikhanov gives a number of instructions at a meeting in the Government House of Tatarstan

On March 25, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic with participation of Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipal regions of the republic linked via videoconference, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov gave a number of instructions and said that the holy month of Ramadan is coming, iftars are organized. He instructed the Spiritual Muslim Board of Tatarstan, together with law enforcement agencies, to create the necessary conditions for conducting rituals and worship, to ensure the safety of mosques and venues for public events.

Minnikhanov also said that cultural workers celebrate their professional holiday. He congratulated everyone on this holiday and stressed that today it is important to develop and preserve the culture and identity of all peoples. Cultural workers fulfill a noble and important mission, he said.

The Rais (Head) of Tatarstan paid special attention to the fact that today Tatarstan citizens criticize the road conditions and the maintenance of pedestrian areas and sidewalks. He recalled that patching of roads is underway in the region.

Rustam Minnikhanov instructed to control this issue. “This work should be taken under control. This is not only road conditions, it is also a road safety issue and one of the most important components of quality of life,” he said.
