Dmitry Medvedev visits the Kazan powder plant

On March 29, during his working visit to Tatarstan, First Deputy Chairman of the Military Industrial Commission of the Russian Federation, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev visited enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Tatarstan.

During his visit, Medvedev accompanied by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov visited the Kazan powder plant and discussed the provision of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation with gunpowder, ammunition and other modern weapons.

The governors of the regions of the Volga Federal District discussed issues of recruitment for military service under the contract.
