On 12 March at their meeting in the OIC office in Jidda (Saudi Arabia) the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who came to the country on a working visit, and the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Hissein Brahim Taha discussed the forthcoming International economic Forum "Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum”. 

On 12 March Tatarstan First Deputy Prime Minister Rustam Nigmatullin took part in sports fest dedicated to the opening of a skiing and biathlon complex “Mirnyy” in Kazan, which satisfies all world standards and its infrastructure enables holding large international competitions.  

On 11 March at their meeting in in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Gökdeniz Karadeniz, a Turkish former football player who played for Rubin Kazan Club in 2008-2018, which twice won the Championship of Russia and twice the Super bowl of the country, discussed interaction in developing football in the republic, supporting children’s sport and other issues.

On 4 March at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov by video conference with all municipalities of the republic and with participation of the First regional Deputy Prime Minister Rustam Nigmatullin in the Government House of the republic, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin informed about capital overhaul of social and cultural facilities and multi-apartment houses.

On 11 March, speaking at a regional meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov gave an errand to step up control over ice removal from roofs and to prepare for spring flooding.

On March 10, the Galiaskar Kamal Tatar State Academic Theatre hosted the jubilee evening of People’s Artist of Russia and Tatarstan, laureate of the Gabdula Tukay State Prize of the Republic of Tatarstan, State Prize of the USSR, Salimzhanov State Prize, Russian National Theater Award "Golden Mask" Rinat Tazetdinov.

On March 10, at their meeting in Moscow, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Minister of Energy Nikolay Shulginov and Russian Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Control Oleg Morozov discussed the development of the fuel and energy complex of Tatarstan.

On March 10, at their meeting in Moscow, the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Minister of Construction, Architecture and Utilities Sector Irek Faizullin discussed the issues of development of the construction complex of the republic, the implementation of federal programmes and measures to support the construction industry.

In his address on the occasion of the celebrations of the International Women’s Day, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said:

“Dear ladies! I congratulate you with the International Women’s Day. This spring holiday is filled with warmth, happiness, smiles and real feelings. Flowers, gifts and congratulations are just a small part of our gratitude to you. Each of you is unique and we admire your ability to combine work with house chores and care for the family.

On 7 March, speaking at a briefing at the Tatarstan Cabinet of Minister, the Director of the Institute of Development of cities of the region Nailya Zinnatullina said that seven cities and the Settlement of Sviyazhsk will take part in the All-Russia competition of small cities and can win the grant support of 675m rubles.
