On 26 May the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in an event dedicated to an honorary resignation of the Chairman of Tatarstan Supreme Court Ilgiz Gilazov  where he handed him in the medal of the Order of Merit for the Republic of Tatarstan .

On May 25, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Deputy Chairman of the Central Control Commission of the «United Russia» Party Ernest Valeyev discussed the issues of further interaction, as well as a number of issues of the Tatarstan regional branch Party «United Russia» and implementation of its projects in the republic. Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin and Chief of the Office of the Rais of Tatarstan Asgat Safarov took part in the meeting.

On 25 May the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a video conference held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with heads of municipalities, executive committees and representatives of enterprises and utilities organizations which summarized results of the 2022/-2023 heating season.

On 25 May in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held the first in this year meeting of the Supervisory Council of the Innopolis Special Economic Zone (SEZ) which considered and approved 10 new projects of industrial and IT-companies with the total amount of investments of 3bn rubles, which will create 784 jobs.

On 22-23 May on errand from the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, a delegation from the republic visited Uzbekistan to study the positive experience of Tashkent and Dzhizak region in citizen self-government.

On 24 May during his working trip to Hefei (Anhui Province, China) the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the JAC Motors plant which is a modern, high-tech enterprise listed in the top ten automakers of China, producing more than 1m cars a year.

On 24 May the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a business-forum “Anhui – Tatarstan” held in Hefei (China).

The main branches of economy of the province, which houses more than 8500 high-tech enterprises, are car building, manufacture of construction materials, medications and food products, logistics, power economy and financial services.

On 23 May in Moscow Russian President Vladimir Putin handed in the Order of St. Andrew the First-Called to the First President of Tatarstan and Hero of Labour of Russia Mintimer Shaimiev, who is currently the State Counselor of the republic, for his outstanding service to the state and longstanding fruitful public activities.

On May 24, during his working visit to China, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov arrived in Hefei (Province of China) to take part in a business-forum “Anhui – Tatarstan”, to meet governor of China's Anhui Wang Qingxian and to visit a number of enterprises.

Om 23 May the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who is a member of the Russia delegation headed by the Chairman of the Russian Government Mikhail Mishustin, took part in a plenary session of the Russia-China business forum with the Premier of the State Council of China Li Qiang representing his country. 

In his welcoming speech Mikhail Mishustin reminded that heads of federal ministries and departments, large companies and regions of Russia are working at the forum as members of the large Russian delegation and said he was sure that deepening of Russia-China interaction will have a positive impact on strengthening economy of both countries.
