On April 5, during his working visit to Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a meeting of the State Council on priority areas of activity of the Russian regions to promote competition in the country chaired by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

On April 5, at the Plenipotentiary Representative Office of Tatarstan in Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov handed in the state award  - the Order of Merit for the Republic of Tatarstan to President of the Association “Ministry of Internal Affairs – Shield of  Chernobyl”, a member of the Public Council of the Plenipotentiary Representative Office of Tatarstan to the Russian Federation Nikolay Demidov.

On April 4, at the Interdepartmental Commission chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Chief Architect of Kazan Tatyana Prokofieva introduced about 20 construction projects in historical part of Kazan. The members of the Commission considered and approved some of the projects, the others caused comments or were criticized.

On April 4, at the Kazan Kremlin, speaking at a joint meeting of the Security Council of the republic, the Coordination meeting on ensuring law and order in the republic and the regional Anti-terrorist Commission chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the republic Rafis Khabibullin reported that the number of deaths at water bodies has decreased by 2.7 times from 259 to 94.

On April 4, at the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a joint meeting of the Security Council of the republic, the Coordination meeting on ensuring law and order in the republic and the regional Anti-terrorist Commission, withTatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Chairman of the regional Council Farid Mukhametshin, Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin, heads of ministers, agencies and relevant organizations, as well as heads of municipalities taking part in it.

On April 4, in the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met Ambassador of Belgium to Russia Jean Arthur Regibeau to discuss prospects for trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation, issues on the organization of work of business structures.

On April 4, at the Governor’s Palace in the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov handed in the state award of the Republic of Tatarstan – the Duslyk Order to the Honored Master of Sports of Russia, the silver and two-time bronze medalist of the 2018 Winter Paralympics in Pyeongchang Marta Zainullina.

On April 3, during his working visit to Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a number of bilateral meetings, in particular, met Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov.
