On August 8, during his working visit to Chistopol region of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Belyi Kreml (White Kremlin) Brewery in Chistopol.

On August 8, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met heads of farms and investors, heads of rural settlements of Chistopol municipal region and together with Head of the region Dmitry Ivanov and representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the republic flied over the region’s fields by a helicopter and inspected the course of the harvesting campaign.

On August 8, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the opening of a new swimming pool in Mamadysh. As many as seven new covered swimming facilities have been opened in Tatarstan, including Apastovo, Verkhny Uslon, Nizhnekamsk, Pestretsy, Mamadysh, Tukaevsky and Tyulyachy municipal regions of the republic today.

On August 8, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov together with Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Tatarstan Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov arrived on a working visit in Mamadysh region to inspect the harvesting campaign and to visit a new meat-packing plant.

On August 7, the delegation of Almaty region of the Republic of Kazakhstan led by its Akim Amandyk Batalov, which arrived on a working visit in Tatarstan, was met by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Vice-Prime Minister of the republic Vasil Shaikhraziev and Deputy Prime Minister of the republic - Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov at the Kazan International Airport.

On August 7, in the regional public reception office of Russian President in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhnov held a regular reception of citizens with participation of municipal regions of the republic by video-link.

On August 7, speaking at a briefing at the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, Minister of Health of the republic Marat Sadykov said that 118,667 Tatarstan residents have the right to receive social services in the form of medicines. A total of 337,466 residents of the republic are in the federal register.

Sadykov said that the federal programme of providing the necessary medicines funded from the federal budget has been implemented since 2005.

On August 6, in Gorki settlement, Moscow region, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov attended a meeting held by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev of the Presidium of the Russian Presidential Council for Strategic Development and National Projects.

On August 6, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived on a working visit in Moscow to meet Russian Minister of Civil Defence, Emergencies and Disasters Relief Yevgeny Zinichev.

On August 4, Acting Tatarstan President Aleksey Pesoshin held a regular working meeting on the construction of the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre.
