On July 13, speaking at the Government House of the republic at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all regions of the republic, First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities of the republic Aleksey Frolov reported on the implementation of capital repair programme of multi-apartment houses. In particular, he said that 43 municipal regions of the republic, including 995 multi-apartment houses with the total area of 5.3 million square meters, take part in the implementation of the programme in Tatarstan in 2018. It is planned to improve living facilities for over 224,000 citizens of the republic.

On July 12, in the Kazan Kremlin, at his meeting with Governor of China's Heilongjiang Province Wang Wentao, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Heilongjiang Province is an important centre of Chinese heavy industry and that Tatarstan is interested in developing cooperation with this region.

On July 12, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the opening of the fifth regional field Olympiad of Young Geologists.

On July 12, speaking at the Oil Summit of the Republic of Tatarstan, Deputy Minister of Energy of Russia Pavel Sorokin told journalists that as part of the tax maneuver, the damping negative excise duty on motor fuel to compensate for part of the difference between the world price and the domestic market price to avoid sharp fluctuations in the fuel cost will be worked out by 2019.

On July 12, during the oil summit, Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Pavel Sorokin handed in the award “Honoured Prospector” to Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
