On January 24, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, State Secretary, Russian Deputy Minister of Sport Natalia Parshikova, Director General of the autonomous non-profit organization “Directorate for Sports and Social Projects” Azat Kadyrov and other officials took part in a meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Directorate.

On January 23, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos (Switzerland), Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov together with Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maksim Oreshkin, Russian Presidential Commissioner for Entrepreneurs' Rights Boris Titov and CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund Kirill Dmitriev spoke at the session “Keeping Russia Competitive”, which discussed the development of the Russian economy, attraction of foreign investment and the role of the regions in these processes.

On January 22, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who is a member the official Russian delegation led by Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maksim Oreshkin, took part in events at the World Economic Forum in Davos (Switzerland), the main theme of which is “Globalization 4.0: Shaping a Global Architecture in the Age of the Fourth Industrial Revolution'.

On January 22, speaking at the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic at a summing up meeting on the results of work of Tatarstan Customs Office in 2018, Head of the Office Albert Mavlikov said that the foreign trade turnover of the Regional Customs Office increased by 14 per cent as compared to 2017 and made 4 bln dollars, including the Volga E-Customs Service, in 2018.

On January 21, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived on a working visit in Switzerland as a member of the official Russian delegation led by Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maksim Oreshkin to take part in the World Economic Forum in Davos.

On January 19, at their meeting at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Igor Shunevich discussed cooperation in the field of crime prevention and maintenance of public security.

On January 19, speaking at the Government House of the republic at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and all regions of the republic, Regional Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin reported that as of January 18, 2019, as many as 86,700 square meters of housing, which makes 3.6 per cent of the plan for the current year, have been commissioned in Tatarstan.

On January 18, speaking at a solemn ceremony dedicated to the introduction of the stars of the world hockey 2019, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that children and adults love hockey in Tatarstan and it will be an honour to host the All-Star Game in the republic.
