On 31 March at their meeting in Dakar, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Senegal President Macky Sall discussed the results of the visit of the Tatarstan delegation to the country and plans for further development.

On 31 March Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who is on a working trip to Senegal, took part in a round table meeting at the Tatarstan-Senegal business forum.

On March 31, on the sidelines of Tatarstan-Senegal business forum, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with representatives of the Gambia delegation.

Thus, the Governor of the Central Bank of the Gambia conveyed the words of deep respect and greeting on behalf of the President of the Gambia, Adam Barrow. «Our President expressed readiness and interest in cooperation with Tatarstan as one of the industrial centers of Russia», he said.

On March 31, during his working visit to Senegal, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov greeted the leadership of the city of Tuba, which is the Muslim religious centre of Senegal.

On March 30, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who arrived on a working visit in Senegal, was met by the State Secretary in charge of Senegalese Abroad Moïse Diégane Sarr, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Senegal and the Republic of Gambia Dmitry Kurakov and other officials at the Dakar Blaise Diagne International Airport.

On 30 March Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who came to the UAE to take part in the AIM, visited pavilions of the World Exhibition Expo Dubai 2020.

On March 26, speaking at the Government House of the republic at a regional meeting, Tatarstan Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Aleksandr Shadrikov said that a two-month cleaning and environmental campaign starts in Tatarstan on April 1 and all supervisory authorities have carried out appropriate organizational preparations for the upcoming events.

On March 29, speaking at a plenary session of the Annual Investment Meeting in Dubai, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who was invited as a special guest, said that the meeting is an excellent venue for presenting the investment opportunities of Tatarstan, exchanging experience with foreign partners and establishing new contacts.

On 29 March at their meeting on the sidelines of the AIM in Dubai Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the administration of the Al-Rais Tourist Company discussed development of cooperation between the republic and the company, which was established in1977 and is one of the most reliable and authoritative tourist brands in the UAE. 

On 29 March Tatarstan President, heading a delegation of the republic, including Deputy Prime Minister –the Minister of Industry and Trade of the republic Albert Karimov, Acting Director of the Tatarstan Investments development Agency Insaf Galiyev, Trade and Economic representative of the republic in Dubai Timur Khayrutdinov, Chairman of the Tatarstan State Committee on Tourism Sergey Ivanov, Minister of Culture of the republic Irada Ayupova and heads of large enterprises of Tatarstan, came on working visit to the United Arab Emirates to take part in the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) in Dubai held 20-31 March.
