On February 3, in the Kazan Sports Palace «Sport Saray», Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, the President of the Continental Hockey League Alexey Morozov and representatives of the clergy took part in the opening ceremony of the 3rd All-Russian Ice Hockey Tournament «The Cup of Friendship – Duslyk».

On February 3, at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre, during a summing up meeting of Tatarstan Ministry of Transport and Roads on the results of the work of the road industry in 2022, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Head of Gorky Railway, the branch of Russian Railways Sergey Dorofeevsky signed an agreement between the Republic of Tatarstan and Russian Railways on interaction and cooperation in rail transport for 2023 – 2025 in such areas as passenger and freight transport, infrastructure development, ensuring road safety and infrastructure facilities, promotion and popularization of tourism in Tatarstan and others.

On February 3, at a summing up meeting of Tatarstan Ministry of Transport and Roads held at the Kazan EXPO Exhibition Centre, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Marat Khusnullin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and representatives of federal structures discussed the issue of modernization of road and transport infrastructure, which is one of the factors of dynamic development of Tatarstan and said that the quality of roads affects the safe and comfortable movement of residents and guests of the republic, as well as the reliability and timeliness of cargo delivery.

On February 3, at the Kazan EXPO International Exhibition Centre, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Marat Khusnullin and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part at an extended summing up meeting of Tatarstan Ministry of Transport and Roads on the results of its work in 2022 and the task for 2023.

On 2 February Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the first meeting of the organizing committee of the International Economic Forum “Russia-Islamic World: KazanForum” held by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin on Moscow.

On 31 January at their meeting in the Government house of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and RF Presidential Commissioner for the Rights of Children Maria Lvova- Belova, who came on a working trip to Kazan to take part in an inter-departmental meeting on protection of rights and legal interests of children and visit a number of social institutions, discussed issues of protection of parentless children, children and families in hardships, prevention of social orphanhood and other topics, including projects of rehabilitation of children with disabilities being implemented in Tatarstan.

On 31 January RF Presidential Commissioner for the Rights of Children Maria Lvova- Belova, who came on a working trip to Kazan, took part in an inter-departmental meeting on protection of rights and legal interests of children held in the Tatarstan Government house with participation of the regional Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Protection Elmira Zaripova, children’s rights Ombudsman of the republic Irina Volynets and the member of the Russian State Duma Tatyana Larionova.

On 31 January at their meeting in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the Head of Soyuzmultfilm Yuliana Slascheva and the Director of the Russian Creative Week Marina Abramova discussed further development of the multimedia center Soyuzmultpark in Kazan and organizing the regional creative week in Tatarstan in 2023. 

On 31 January at its meeting held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic, the Board of Tatneftekhiminvest Holding discussed a number of innovative projects.

On 31 January, speaking at his meeting in the Government house of the republic with Minister of Economy of Abkhazia Kristina Ozgan, who came on a visit to Tatarstan as the head of an Abkhazian delegation, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that both republics have all possibilities for ramping up the trade turnover and cooperation.
