Opening the meeting, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that a number of new heads of regions were elected in the republic on 19 September.

He also informed that during last week Corona virus incidence has started decreasing in the republic.

In his congratulation on the occasion of the Trade Unions Day of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said: “Dear Tatarstan residents! Today the republic celebrates one of the most important professional holidays - the Trade Unions Day.

On 23 September, opening the XXVIII session of the Basin Council of the Lower Volga Basin district, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said:” The issue of water is one of the priorities for the future. It is a strategically important resource both for water supply, as energy source and transport for operation of various branches of economy. Tatarstan is one of the most water-rich regions in the Volga Federal District: 6.4% of our territory is covered with water and we have 36 thousand water bodies. It is the wealth we must definitely take care of and preserve”.

On 23 September, addressing workers of Rospotrebnadzor at a solemn ceremony dedicated to 100th birthday of Russian Sanitary and Epidemiological Service , Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said  that for the century sanitary services of our country provide reliable hygienic and sanitary safety of population and solve the most difficult professional and organizational tasks.

On 23 September the Startups Experts Council, consisting of representatives of the venture market, investments funds and Innopolis, held on the sidelines of the Kazan Digital Week forum reviewed seven new IT projects.

Projects approved by the Experts Council are given the status of the resident of the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) of Innopolis that gives a number of advantages to companies, such as reduced taxes, access to co-working and educational practices from leading IT specialists, services from partners for the amount of 1m roubles, help in head hunting and other preferences.

On 23 September at their meeting in the Governmnet house of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Aleksandr Kozlov discussed federal projects of Preservation of Unique Water Bodies and Recovery of the Volga, which are being implemented by the Ecology national project in the republic.

At its 34th session Tatarstan State Council has approved the appointment of Yevgeniy Varakin, who was recommended by the President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov, to the position of Deputy Prime Minister of the republic.

On 23 September Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the 34th session State Council of the republic of the sixth convocation, the agenda of which consists of 28 issues including 19 regional draft laws, 2 federal draft laws and two compellations from the Russian legislative bodies. 

The largest block of draft laws is related to amendments in the Budget Code and tax legislation of the republic. A number of laws prolong reduced tax rates, others are considered to bring regional legislation in line with the federal one. 

The Tatarstan State Council has passed the law prolonging till 31 December 2025 the reduced tax rate from 5 to 1 per cent for IT-companies and entrepreneurs working by simplified taxation system in Inoppolis.

On 22 September in the Government house of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting of the draft board of the republic.

At the meeting the regional Military Commissar Sergey Pogodin reported about the partial call-up carried out by the commissariat. The President of the republic gave an errand to heads of municipalities to allocate additional staff to local Military Commissariats to carry out summons expediently and to provide transportation of those called up from regions to Kazam. In addition he gave an errand to organize hot food catering, medical service and law enforcement at the collecting points.
