Congratulations from Rais of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov with Easter

In his congratulations of residents of the republic with the Easter the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said: “From the bottom of my heart I congratulate you with the end of the Great Lent and the Resurrection of Christ!

Easter celebrations always awaken the highest and most noble feelings in people. Celebration of the Resurrection of Christ epitomizes the striving to spiritual perfection, ideals of good and justice.

Today the Orthodoxy feel their sense of belonging to thousand years long traditions of Christianity, to our shared great history and are filled with respect to unshakable moral values and customs laid down by our forebears.

In this difficult moment that Russia goes through it is important to take care of and preserve faith, multiply the hope for the brighter future in people’s hearts and strengthen ideals of mutual respect and mercy in the society.  

For many years we witness positive processes going on in the religious life of our republic and this year we are celebrating the 300th birthday of the Kazan seminary which is one of the oldest religious educational institutions of the country. I hope that celebrations of this wonderful anniversary will make its contribution into strengthening of inter-ethnic and inter-confessional peace and concord.
