On January 27, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and senior representatives of Mobile TeleSystems Company (MTS) discussed issues of further development of the company in the region, the provision of the resident of the republic and users of the MTS with high-quality mobile communications and other issues. Tatarstan Prime Minister and senior representatives discussed the possibility of building additional base stations in the republic.

On January 25, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov introduced a newly appointed Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities of the republic Farid Khanifov, who headed regional branch of the Russian State Expert Evaluation Department (Glavgosexpertiza of Russia).

On January 24, during a summing up meeting of Tatarstan Ministry of Transport and Roads, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of Gorky Railway, the branch of Russian Railways Anatoly Lesun signed an agreement between Tatarstan Government and Russian Railways on interaction and cooperation in rail transport for 2020 – 2022.

On January 21, at his meeting with Chairman of Srei Infrastructure Finance Limited (India) Hemant Kanoria on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov noted that Srei holding is one of the leading financial companies in India, as well as the only one investing in infrastructure projects.
