On April 8, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited Regional Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital named after Andrey Agafonov, where he looked around the hospital facilities, talked to the doctors and got acquainted with the hospital conditions for patients. Before the inspection, Tatarstan President went through all the sanitary and epidemiological procedures, put on a protective suit and a special mask.
Minnikhanov also got acquainted with a mobile laboratory for the rapid detection of infectious diseases. The team of Russian and Japanese specialists developed this device. Production is established in Kazan and Tokyo. Kazan enterprise “Evotek-Mirai Genomix”, manufacturing the device, operates in three shifts.
Russian Direct Investment Fund is the project’s investor, which has invested over a billion roubles in the production of express tests. Fund partners in the UAE, Austria and other countries confirmed the uniqueness of the system created in Kazan. The new development is being registered in Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare (Roszdravnadzor) now.
