Rustam Minnikhanov visits a milk processing plant in Alekseevsky region of the republic

On April 15, during his working visit to Alekseevsky region of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Khuzangaevskoye milk processing plant.

The plant produces butter and various types of cheese using its own raw materials. Khuzangaevskoye has its own farm for 3,200 dairy cows.

Minnikhanov was informed that for the first quarter of this year, the plant produced 137.3 tonnes of cheese and 7 tonnes of butter. Strict quality control is carried out at all the production stages. Products are sold through the retail chain and wholesale markets.

According to Director of the plant, there is great potential for further increasing production volumes. Today the plant processes 20 tonnes of milk per day and there are plans to double this figure.

Minnikhanov noted that the most important task today is to save jobs and increase agricultural production. “It is important to use all existing state support measures so that production development plans are implemented,” Tatarstan President said.
