On May 16, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting, via videoconference, with representatives of banking organizations of the republic to discuss anti-crisis measures to support the economy. Head of the Service for Consumer Protection and Financial Inclusion of the Central Bank of Russia Mikhail Mamuta also took part in the meeting.

On May 16, speaking at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and all regions of the republic, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities of the republic Farid Khanifov said that 1064 multi-apartment houses with the total area of 6.5 million square metres with the total funding amounting to 6b 658m 53 thousand roubles  in 41 municipal regions will be overhauled in Tatarstan in 2020.

On May 15, speaking at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that despite the current difficult situation in the economy, Tatarstan must timely fulfill all the tasks set by the head of the state in the national projects.

On May 12, at the Government House of the republic, speaking at a meeting, via videoconference, on sanitary and epidemiological situation with the participation of all municipalities, ministries and departments of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the compliance with the face mask regime will be strictly monitored in Tatarstan.

On May 11, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting, via videoconference, on countering the spread of Covid-19.

On May 9, on Victory Day in World War II, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov laid flowers at the Eternal Flame under the Colonnade of the Memorial to Glory and unveiled a new monument to the Soviet soldier in the Kazan Victory Park. 

On May 9, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a ceremony of laying flowers at the “Soldier-Winner” monument at the Arsk cemetery in Kazan.
