On August 8, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov paid a working visit to Yutazinsky municipal region of the republic, where he met heads of farms, investors and heads of local settlements, as well as discussed issues of the harvesting campaign.
Minnikhanov had lunch with machine operators at the field facility near the Unysh’s spring barley field. The menu included pea soup and buckwheat cereal. Tatarstan President thanked the machine operators for their work and contribution to the grain harvest. He reminded that today Tatarstan is self-sufficient in all the necessary food products. “I grew up in a village, graduated from an agricultural institute, therefore I have great respect and gratitude for the work of the villagers,” Minnikhanov said.
Besides, Minnikhanov visited the Solnyshko kindergarten after a major overhaul in the village of Yutaza . The kindergarten was built in 1977. As many as 110 children can attend the preschool facility.
In the village of Yutaza, Minnikhanov also looked around the commercial dairy farm at the Vafaullin farm (the first stage), built using the Family Livestock Farm grant funds.
The head of the farm Ansel Vafaullin told Minnikhanov about the work of the family dairy complex, the production and sale of livestock and crop products, as well as about its further development.
