Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov is on a regular vacation from the 27th of July to the 8th of August 2020.

On July 24, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Director of Severtsov Institute of Ecology and Evolution of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vyacheslav Rozhnov discussed a project on the establishment of the centre for the study of rare species of cats in the region.

On July 24, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the auditor of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation Mikhail Men discussed the issues of interaction between control and accounting bodies and enforcement of the implementation of national projects in the republic.

On July 23, at their meeting at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov and Head of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography (Rosreestr) Oleg Skufinsky discussed the development of digitalization in the real estate sector.

On July 21, speaking at a briefing at the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities of the republic Farit Khanifov reported that as many as 17,593 housing loans totalling 36.7 billion roubles were granted in Tatarstan in the first half of 2020.

On July 20, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin introduced new Director General of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Kazan Company Rinat Sabirov, who previously held the post of Aide to Tatarstan President, to the staff. He replaced Rinat Khanbikov, who headed the company since 1998.

On July 20, Rustam Minnikhanov submitted documents for registration as a candidate for the post of Tatarstan President to the Central Electoral Commission of the republic.
