On 9 October, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Aleksey Pesoshin and the Head of the Federal Road Agency Roman Novikov  discussed issues of implementation road construction projects in the republic, including the further construction of sections of highways M-12 “East”, M-7 Volga, M-5 and others.

On 8 October the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

Speaking at the meeting, the Rais of Tatarstan thanked Emir for attention given to the development of cooperation with the republic within the framework of Russia-Qatar relations. He stated that today’s trade turnover between Qatar and Tatarstan is quite modest and at the same time the range of products which can be delivered to Qatar is rather wide. 

On 6 October in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the Director General of the MegaFon Company Khachatur Pombukhchan. 

On 6 October the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Sate Counselor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev took part in a ceremonial meeting dedicated to the International Teacher’s Day. 

On 6 October at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the President of the Russia Triathlon Federation Kseniya Shoygu discussed issues of cooperation in promotion of physical training and sports, organization of triathlon competitions in the republic and a project of building a Triathlon Federal Center in Almetyevsk.

On 5 October, during his working trip to Kazan, Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev accompanied by Russian Deputy Prime Minister- the Minister of Industry and Trade of the country Denis Manturov and the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov attended the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center and got acquainted with investments, industrial and economic potential of the republic. 

On 5 October upon his arrival to Kazan International Airport Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev , who came on a working trip to Tatarstan during his official visit to Russia, was met by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Deputy Prime Minister- the Minister of Industry and Trade of the country Denis Manturov and other officials.

In congratulatory address on the occasion of the Teacher’s Day the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated teachers and old stagers with their professional holiday.

On 4 October, speaking at a plenary session of the III Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan held with participation of the Russian Deputy Prime Minister- the Minister of Industry and Trade of the country Denis Manturov and Uzbekistan Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khodjaev, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that today the republic is actively interacting with Uzbekistan partners and first of all in economy and investments. 

On 4 October at their meeting in Kazan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Deputy Prime Minister- the Minister of Industry and Trade of the country Denis Manturov, who came to Tatarstan to take part in the III Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan, discussed joint projects of Tatarstan and Uzbekistan and promising spheres of work.
