Rustam Minnikhanov meets the SIBUR Company management

On January 23, during his working visit to Moscow, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at the meeting with Director General of SUBUR Company Mikhail Karisalov discussed the implementation of the cooperation agreement between Tatarstan Government and SIBUR Company, as well as the further development of the regional enterprises of the holding – Nizhnekamskneftekhim and Kazanorgsintez.

The integration of enterprises into SIBUR has endowed them with resources and additional stability and opportunities for high-quality development in a difficult macroeconomic environment.

At the same time, SIBUR continues to implement one of the most ambitious production capacity development programmes in Tatarstan.

A new petrochemical model is being developed on the basis of the future production of ethylene - EP-600, the largest investment project in the republic, which will become the basis for a whole range of ethylene consuming industries.

SIBUR contributes significantly to the development of science and projects to improve the quality of life. Already this year, Kazan will lay the foundation stone of a new scientific centre of the petrochemical industry, the company develops training programmes at the level of cooperation with leading universities of the republic, invests in the construction of a new campus on the basis of the Nizhnekamsk Institute of Chemical Technology. The company also invests in a number of projects of social significance - reconstruction of sports and leisure facilities in Nizhnekamsk, including the city’s largest sports ground.
