On 15 May, speaking at his meeting with the First Deputy of the Head of the High Council of State of Libya Massoud Abid on the sidelines of the XV KazanForum, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that Russia is for achievement of final longtime stability on Libya, strengthening its solidarity and sovereignty and provision of progressive social and economic development. “Our country is ready to facilitate the progress of the internal Libyan political process. Our countries have rich cooperation experience,” he said. 

On 15 May, speaking at his meeting with the Director General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization Salim bin Mohammed AlMalik on the sidelines of the XV KazanForum, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov thanked his guest for his participation in the KazanForum. “It is nice that there is an ICESCO stand at the Russia Halal Expo exhibition,” he stated. 

On 16 May at their meeting on the sidelines of the XV KazanForum, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Magomedsalam Magomedov discussed issues of social and economic develop0ment of the republic and the i8mplementation of national projects.

On 15 May on the sidelines of the XV KazanForum the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a meeting of Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin with the First Deputy Chairman of the Kyrgyzstan Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev, where the participants of the meeting discussed issues of further cooperation in a number of spheres and the expansion of contacts in economy, science and culture.

On 15 May on the sidelines of the XV KazanForum the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a meeting of Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin with the Minister of Economy of the Sultanate of Oman Said bin Mohammed Al-Saqri where the participants of the meeting discussed issues of further cooperation in a number of spheres the expansion of contacts in economy, science and culture.

On 15 May in the Kazan Kremlin the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the National Leader of Turkmen people, the Chairman of People’s Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow , who arrived to Kazan during his visit to Russia to take part in the International Economic Forum and be the Guest of Honor at a meeting of the Strategic Vision Group “Russia-the Islamic World.”

On 15 May during the official walk round of the exhibition organized on the sideline of the  XV Internationals Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum-2024”, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov told the honorary guests about the domestic produce and unique digital solutions represented at the exposition of residents of the Innopolis Special Economic Zone and the Innopolis University.

On 15 May, speaking at his meeting with the Chairman of the Government of Dagestan Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov on the sidelines of the XV KazanForum, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that Dagestan is an important partner for the republic and relations between the regions are built on principles of the Cooperation Agreement signed in 2018.

On 15 May on the sidelines of the XV KazanForum  Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin on behalf of the Government of the republic and the Director General of the New Land  Grain Corridor Yuri Manevich signed an agreement on establishment of a land-based grain hub in the republic. 

On 15 May Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, Russian Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia Dmitriy Volvach, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Libya Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh , the Under Secretary of the UAE Ministry of Economy Abdulla Al Saleh and the Director General of the Islamic Halal Services Chamber Ashraf El Tanbuoly took part in a ceremony of opening the XV KazanForum and the VII Russia Halal Expo Exhibition at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center.
