Mintimer Shaimiev meets Colonel-General Anatoliy Sergeev

On 7 September in the Kazan Kremlin Tatarstan State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev had a meeting with the Soviet and Russian Military Commander Colonel General Anatoliy Sergeev, who was the Commander in Chief of the Volga-Urals and the Volga military districts from 1991 to 2002 and retired in 2022.

During the meeting Anatoliy Sergeev shared his impressions of a ceremonial event dedicated to the 80th birthday of Kazan Suvorov Military College, which took place in Kazan yesterday.

The Head of the College Valeriy Mironchenko, who also took part in the meeting, handed in to Mintimer Shaimiev a memorial sign “80 years to Kazan Suvorov Military College”.
