On 1 September the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited a dormitory of the Almetyevsk trade and economy vocational school established in 1968.
Currently the school trains specialists in such spheres as economics and bookkeeping, operative business in logistics, commodity research and examination, tourism and hospitality business, insurance and others. As many as 17 thousand students graduated the vocational school during 56 years of its work.
On 1 September in his address to residents of the republic on the occasion of the Day of Knowledge, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, congratulating schoolchildren, students, teachers and parents with the holiday, said: “It is one of the warmest holidays filled with anticipation and lucky memories.

He said: “For many years the petrochemical branch of Tatarstan was and is the symbol of might and richness of the republic which helps to implement many infrastructural and social projects and ensure the achievement of strategic targets of the development of our country.
On 31 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov handed in keys for 30 new company cars LADA Niva Travel and Lada Granta to the Chief Directorate of Veterinary of the regional Cabinet of Ministers and the Directorate of the Federal Veterinary Surveillance Service for Tatarstan at a ceremony held with participation of the Chairman of the State Council of the republic Farid Mukhametshin and the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov in front of the State Council edifice in Kazan.
On 31 August, speaking at a regular meeting in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov informed that more than 400 thousand people, including 290 thousand in Kazan, took part in festive events dedicated to the Day of Tatarstan on 30 August.

On 30 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the State Counselor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev, the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, the regional Minister of Healthcare Marsel Minullin, the Head of the Muslims Spiritual Board of the republic Kamil Samigullin and the Metropolitan of Kazan and Tatarstan Cyril took part in a ceremony of opening a Quiet Garden spiritual complex at Children’s Regional Clinical Hospital in Kazan.
On 30 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the State Counselor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev took part in a ceremony of unveiling a memorial plaque of Hero of Socialist Labour Ildus Mostykov created by the sculptor Zulfia Mykhamedyanova and held in Kazan with participation of Mostyukov’s relatives and other guests.
On 30 August in his address to residents of the republic on the occasion of the Day of Tatarstan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said:”This day we feel pride for achievements of our countryman and fosterlings of the republic. We pay homage to veterans of the WWII, participants of the special military operation and their families. We commend the contribution of working teams, outstanding workers of science, culture and sports with deserved awards.
