Rustam Minnikhanov meets Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Dmitriy Patrushev

On 23 January at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Dmitriy Patrushev discussed issues of social and economic development of the region. Speaking at the meeting, Dmitriy Patrushev stated that Tatarstan is the region with well-developed economy and high growth capacity.

“You are implementing large scale investments projects practically in all spheres, having mostly maintained investments dynamics in 2024. Due to this the republic is one of the leaders in investments climate in Russia. I would like to mention separately the agribusiness development as you are continuously among the top ten entities of our country by the produce amount,” he said.

Dmitriy Patrushev stressed that in 2024 the agricultural production index continues to grow. “Tatarstan is one of the largest receivers of the agribusiness state support. In 2024 the federal budget allocated you more than 5bn rubles and the similar sum is envisaged for 2025,” he said.

At the meeting the parties also discussed issues of implementation of the national projects “Ecology” and “Ecological Well-being” in Tatarstan in 2019-2024 and Rustam Minnikhanov reported about the progress of the construction of a waste disposal plant with the capacity of 550 thousand tonnes a year in the settlement of Osinovo near Kazan.
