On April 16, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived on a two-day working visit in India to discuss prospects for cooperation between Tatarstan and the State of Andhra Pradesh at the Business Forum “Andhra Pradesh – Tatarstan” and to visit the city of Visakhapatnam in the State of Andhra Pradesh and the city of Hyderabad the capital of the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

On April 14, speaking at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and all regions of the republic, Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin reported that since the beginning of 2018, the State Construction Inspectorate and State Labour Inspectorate of Tatarstan have carried out 366 inspections and issued 118 decisions for the sum of 3m886 thousand roubles for violations of labour safety rules and regulations.

On April 13, at the Kazan Kremlin, at his meeting with the Ambassadors of countries of Latin America and the Caribbean (Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela, the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Cuba, Paraguay) to the Russian Federation, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov thanked the diplomats for the interest in establishing interaction with the Republic of Tatarstan. 

On April 12, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Karlovy Vary (the Czech Republic) Mikhail Ledenev and Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, who is on a vacation in Karlovy Vary, laid flowers at the monument to the first cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, erected in front of the airport of this city.

On April 12, at the Korston Entertainment Complex in Kazan, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in the ninth annual general meeting of members of the Association of Builders of Tatarstan, which includes 1,025 organizations as of April 1, 2018.

On April 11, during his working visit to Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Roscosmos State Corporation, where he had a meeting with its Director General Igor Komarov.
