Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in the meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Ak Bars Hockey Academy

On June 1, at the Tatneft Arena Ice Palace in Kazan, a meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Ak Bars Hockey Academy named after Yu.I. Moiseyev chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov was held.

Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council Rashid Nurgaliyev, President of Tatarstan Ice Hockey Federation and Ak Bars Ice Hockey Club, Director General of Tatneft Oil Company Nail Maganov, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leila Fazleeva, Minister of Youth Affairs and Sport of the republic Vladimir Leonov and other officials took part in the meeting.

Before the Supervisory Board session, Minnikhanov had a meeting with the students of the Academy who had training held by the five-time winner of the Gagarin Cup, the forward of the Ak Bars club Danis Zaripov. Tatarstan President congratulated the young hockey players on the Children's Day and on the end of the regular hockey season, wishing them good luck and high sporting achievements.

During the meeting, Director of the Academy of Hockey Yevgeny Rychkov reported on the results of the work of the Academy in 2017-2018. 

Minnikhanov emphasized the positive development dynamics of the Ak Bars Hockey Academy. Extensive work was carried out during the reported period, which requires support from the republic.

“The activity of the Ak Bars Hockey Academy is characterized by a systematic approach to the development of hockey. Much attention is paid to the training process, nutritional issues and medicine, as well as personal development, both a player and a coach. We know that the similar development system has been used in the Ak Bars Club. Therefore, there is also the Academy's contribution in the victory in the third Gagarin Cup,” Minnikhanov emphasized.
