The results of the work of small oil companies in the first quarter of 2018 considered in the Government House of the republic

On May 30, in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting on the results of work of small oil companies (SOC) in the first quarter of 2018 and tasks for further development.

Senior officials of ministries and agencies of the republic, subdivisions of federal agencies, Director General of Tatneft Oil Company Nail Maganov and other officials took part in the meeting.

Opening the meeting, Minnikhanov said that Russia has suppressed oil production under the Global Agreement with OPEC by 1.2 per cent as compared to the first quarter of 2017. Tatarstan oil companies produced in total 8 m 776 thousand tonnes of oil, or 98.8 per cent as compared to the same period last year, including small oil companies extracted 1763 thousand tonnes - a decrease of 0.4 per cent. At the same time, investments in exploratory drilling, geological activities have increased.

The year started with rising oil prices, they reached 80 dollars per barrel, Tatarstan President noted.

Revenues of the oil companies of the republic increased by one third, taxes to the federal and regional budgets have increased.

“Tatneft Oil Company showed positive results, all planned appointments are exceeded,” Minnikhanov said.

Chief of Rostekhnadzor’s Volga Region office Boris Petrov made a report on industrial safety conditions at hazardous production facilities of small oil companies of the republic.

The office held a series of training workshops in Almetyevsk, but they had  low attendance by the representatives of SOC. Tatarstan President drew the attention of the heads of SOC to the inadmissibility of neglecting industrial safety issues.

Director General of Neftekonsortsium Company Fanis Valiev reported on the results of work of SOC in the first quarter of 2018. In particular, he said that 1m 763 thousand tonnes of oil were produced in the reported period, which is 96,000 tonnes over the plan.

Small oil companies shipped produce for 33.9 billion roubles in the first quarter of the current year, which is 21 per cent higher than the same period last year.
