Rustam Minnikhanov instructs to check the system of organization of child catering in connection with the food poisoning of schoolchildren in Aktanysh

On September 7, in the Government House of the republic, at a regional meeting, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov instructed to check the system of organization of child catering in the educational institutions of the republic.

Mass food poisoning of schoolchildren was recorded in the village of Aktanysh the day before. As many as 20 children with symptoms of food poisoning have been taken to the Central Regional Hospital. The Investigation Committee of the Russian Federation in Tatarstan initiated an investigation on this fact.

Minnikhanov said that such incidents must not occur in the future. He instructed to check the system of organization of child nutrition in the educational institutions of the republic, in particular, food purchasing system, their storage conditions and the sanitary condition of the facilities, and take the necessary measures to eliminate the shortcomings.
