On March 6, Director General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Audrey Azoulay, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan, was met by Tatarstan State Counsellor, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Revival Regional Foundation, UNESCO Special Envoy for intercultural dialogue Mintimer Shaimiev at the Kazan International Airport.

On March 6, during his working visit to the Czech Republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Czech President Milos Zeman at Prague Castle, the residence of the president. 

On March 6, in Prague, speaking at the Russian-Czech business forum, held under the Russian-Czech Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Industrial and Scientific and Technical Cooperation and dedicated to trade and economic relations of the two countries, its current state and prospects, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov invited the participants of the Forum to cooperation with Tatarstan.

On March 6, in Prague, the Czech Republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the 11th meeting of the Russian-Czech Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Industrial and Scientific and Technical Cooperation, the Co-Chairs of which are Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Marta Nováková.

On March 6, during his working visit to the Czech Republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Minister for Agriculture of the Czech Republic Miroslav Toman.

On March 6, at the Kazanskaya Yarmarka Exhibition Centre Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in the opening of the 13th specialized exhibition “Fisherman. Hunter”.

On March 5, in the city of Prostějov, the Czech Republic, speaking at the ceremony of launching of a new plant of Danaflex Company with participation of Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Marta Nováková, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that at the first stage, direct investment in the new production of flexible packaging amounted to 40 million euros.

On March 5, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who arrived on a working visit in the Czech Republic, was met by First Deputy hetman of South Moravian Region Roman Hanak, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Brno Alexandr Budaev and other officials, at the Brno Airport.

On March 5, at the Government House of the republic, at his meeting with Consul General of Uzbekistan in Kazan Fariddin Nasriev, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin noted that the opening of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Kazan will significantly strengthen trade, economic and humanitarian ties.

On March 5, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov handed in the Duslyk Order to Chairman of Central Muslim Spiritual Board of Russia Talgat Tadzhuddin for his significant contribution to the preservation of traditional spiritual values, interfaith peace and harmony in the republic.
