On June 25, during his working visit to Thuringia (Germany), Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov got acquainted with teaching activities and learning and practice classes at the Erfurt Educational Centre.
The Erfurt Educational Centre is an association of companies that have been providing innovative technical and vocational education services in Thuringia and beyond since 1990. The Сentre carries out orders for education and advanced training for various industrial enterprises.
Minnikhanov was informed that the Centre provides a wide range of educational services, including advanced training in more than 60 specialties, organizing an educational course for industrial education masters in electrical engineering and technological equipment, as well as working with gifted schoolchildren and students.
Tatarstan President accompanied by General Manager of the Erfurt Educational Centre Frank Belkner visited workshops where practical classes on metalworking, work on CNC machines, warehousing activities, and maintenance of aviation equipment are held. Minnikhanov also visited special training classes for studying systems of technical management of residential apartment buildings, learning the basics of natural stone mining and processing technology, mechatronics and other activites.
During his visit to the Centre, Minnikhanov also met five masters of industrial training sent to the Erfurt Educational Center from Tatarstan.
It was noted that a year ago the Erfurt Educational Centre and KAMAZ Automaker signed a cooperation agreement. The document envisages interaction in terms of training the plant’s production staff for the most popular and promising professions. Moreover, the parties are collaborating on the assessment of staff skills, as well as training of teaching staff, including methodological didactic materials in accordance with German standards and advanced technology.
