On 27 February, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic on implementation of Ecology National Projects and plans in environmental protection in 2024, Tatarstan Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Aleksandr Shadrikov told that since 2019 the republic has implemented 30 actions for 17.6bn rubles by 6 federal projects, such as “Recovery of the Volga”, Preservations of Unique Water Bodies, Pure Water, Preservations of Forests and the Complex System of Waste Management. 

On 27 February, speaking at a meeting of judges of the republic held in the Soviet District Court of Kazan and dedicated to results of work in 2023, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that judicial decisions are an instrument of restoring justice and a civilized completion of any dispute. Passage of calculated court rulings is the main and very important task, he said.

On 1-4 March the final of All-Russia competition “Start the game” of the Presidents platform “Russia-the country of opportunities” will be held during the International Multi-sports Tournaments “The Games of the Future” in Kazan on 1-4 March. The competition will gather more than 400 best arcade game developers from 60 regions of Russia, as well as from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus and Lithuania who will take part in the final tests and demonstrate their games.

A solemn ceremony of awarding 102 managers from 31 regions of Russia and two foreign countries – Belgium and Serbia, winners of the assessment tests of the super finals of the jubilee competition of managers “Leaders of Russia” was held in the Moscow Art Theatre on 26 February.

On February 26, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a videomeeting of the Commission for Scientific and Technological Development of the Russian Federation chaired by the Deputy Head of the Russian Government Dmitriy Chernyshenko, which discussed the implementation of complex scientific and technical programmes and the progress of the state programme «Scientific and Technological Development of the Russian Federation».

On February 26, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov together with Tatarstan State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev and accompanied by the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, the Head of Laishevsky region of the republic Ildus Zaripov and Mufti of Tatarstan, Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the republic Kamil Khazrat Samigullin took part in the opening ceremony of the cathedral mosque «Ak Mosque «Zaynab».

On February 26, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov together with the Tatarstan State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev and accompanied by the Aide of the Rais of Tatarstan Olesya Baltusova, Tatarstan Minister of Culture Irada Ayupova and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin visited the renovated museum of the Laishevsky region named after Gavriil Derzhavin.

On February 26, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and Director General of Kazmetrostroy Marat Rakhimov visited the construction site of the 10th microdistrict metro station and was informed about the course of construction.

On 24 February speaking at a regional meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesosin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Lenar Garipov reported about conditions of winter crops in municipal regions of the republic.

He said that farmers are carrying out checks of sowing quality of grain and he reecommended those farms which are planning strain renovation to consider Tatarstan breeds of high-yielding cereal and legume crops.

On 24 February speaking at a regional meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin of the republic informed that 5bn 158m rubles will be used for capital overhaul of 185 facilities by the Education national project and two state and four regional programmes.
