Tatarstan delegation headed by RT Prime Minister R.N.Minnikhanov took part in solemn opening of the VIII International investment forum “Sochi-2009”. Co-chairmen of organization committee – Deputy chairman of Russian government Dmitry Kozak, Minister of economic development of Russia Elvira Nabiullina and Governor of Krasnodar region Aleksandr Tkachev addressed to participants of the forum with welcoming speech.

Delegations from 30 countries arrived in Sochi to take part in the VIII International investment forum “Sochi-2009”. Tatarstan exposition consists of the following subject blocks: “Electronic Tatarstan” (Electronic government, Electronic trade information system), “Oil-gas-chemical cluster”, “Building and transport”, “Agriculture”, “IT”, “Special economic zone “Alabuga”, “Nanotechnologies”, “Universiade-2013”.

RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov held meeting in the RT Cabinet on issues of implementation of local budgets in 2009 and optimization work under conditions of "falling" income. All municipal regions took part in videoconference meeting.

RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov and President of Russian shooting union, President of European shooting confederation Vladimir Lisin discussed perspectives of developing shooting sport in Tatarstan. The meeting was held in the House of RT government.

There will be no problems with procuring the population of republic with potato and other vegetables in current season. This was stated by RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov following the outcomes of visiting Baltasinsky, Kukmorsky and Sabinsky regions.

«Yokogawa Elecrtric International» company management (Japan) met RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov at the House of Government. The parties have discussed questions of mutually advantageous cooperation on a number of projects. RT Prime Minister noted that today when «Yokogawa Electrician International» is headed by a new leader, a necessity appeared to exchange opinions on implementing some projects in territory of Tatarstan.

The Honorary Diploma of Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service was awarded Rustam Minnikhanov for long-term fruitful cooperation and personal contribution into implementation of state policy in the sphere of developing competition.

On the threshold of 65-anniversary of victory issues of housing provision for war veterans were discussed at meeting in the RT Cabinet.The meeting in mode of videoconference was devoted to implementation of capital repair program in republic. All municipal regions took part in the meeting.

San Hong Lim and Rustam Minnikhanov discussed perspectives of developing business of “Samsung Electronics” in Russia including possible location of plants in Tatarstan. Moreover Head of Tatarstan government and Director General of “Samsung Electronics Rus” discussed development of WiMAX technology in the world and in Russia particularly (we remind that “Samsung Electronics” is the producer and supplier of equipment for WiMAX technology).

RT Prime Minister thanked Mr Ergin for 2-year work in republic (Akhmet Ergin took up his duties on December, 15, 2007). By words of Rustam Minnikhanov consul-general of Turkey in Kazan has always tried to do his best.
