Prime Minister of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov: One of the main tasks - to make public services as accessible as possible for citizens

One of the main objectives of the authorities is to make public services as accessible as possible for citizens. This was stated today by Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at the final meeting of the Directorate of the Center of Information Technologies of the Republic of Tatarstan "(CIT RT).

The meeting took place in a new building of IT park in Kazan and was devoted to implementation of the republican target program "Electronic Tatarstan (2008-2010)” and transition to assist state and local government services electronically.

According to the head of the Government of Tatarstan, now as to the officials, and the procedure for the provision of public services is not available for the public. And this, in turn, gives rise to corruption. Rustam Minnikhanov encouraged to actively develop the provision of public state and municipal services in electronic format.

Republic of Tatarstan can not develop in isolation from other regions, Rustam Minnikhanov said, and therefore the federal center as soon as possible should develop uniform standards for introduction of information technologies and provision of public services electronically.

According to RT Prime Minister, the republic also should work to raise awareness of the population about the work of informants. He proposed to define a number of territories where their implementation will be most active. In order for citizens could boldly use the services of informants, Rustam Minnikhanov proposed at first to put the volunteers near the informants - to explain their destination, to demonstrate their work and opportunities.

Today, at the RT Center of Information Technologies operates a professional team, RT Prime Minister stated and the Government of the Republic of will provide full support for CIT, besides their projects and initiatives enjoy support from the federal government, Rustam Minnikhanov added.

Commissioned in autumn of 2009 the IT Park is the first project undertaken under the state program "Creation of technology parks in Russia in the sphere of high technologies", recalled Rustam Minnikhanov. The CIT RT - one of the main resident of IT park and one of the main consumers of its services. Next, you need to pay a serious attention to the increasing number of high-tech companies - residents of the IT Park, Prime Minister said.

Rustam Minnikhanov also marked that today, without information technology no branch of the industry - whether it be health, education, authorities registrar's office or archival work do with.

Particular attention should be paid to the further development of info-com technologies in education, he said. The whole world is no longer presents itself without a computer and the Internet, and every pupil should have access to the Internet, Rustam Minnikhanov said. Otherwise, we may be unable to compete.

In 2010, the Information Technology Center of RT must maintain a full-scale work on the program "Electronic Tatarstan (2008-2010)” and transition to assist state and local government services electronically, Prime Minister of Tatarstan said in the conclusion.
