RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov is in Bahrain to take part in the first meeting of founders of Tatarstan International Investment Company which should operate in compliance with the Shariat principles. The meeting was organized by Islamic corporation on development of private sector – a member of Islamic development bank, and company IFC “Linova” (Russia, Kazan).

RT First vice-premier Ravil Muratov held videoconference meeting with participation of all municipal regions. It was dedicated to realization of republican program on decreasing tension at labour market in 2009 and tasks for 2010-2011. Specialists of World Bank took part in the event.

Tatarstan Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov held enlarged meeting in House of RT Government on issue of implementing the project of constructing oil-refining and petrochemical plants Complex in Nizhnekamsk (“TANEKO” project).

RT Minister of construction, architecture and housing Marat Khusnullin informed at meeting in RT Cabinet that Tatarstan plans to commission about 2 mln. m² of housing in 2010. All municipal regions of republic took part in videoconference meeting held by RT PM Rustam Minnikhanov.

Presidium session of RT Council of municipal formations took part in RT Cabinet. It was held by Chairman of RT Council of municipal formations – Head of municipal formation Cheremshansky municipal region Minsagit Shakirov.

RT First vice-premier Ravil Muratov said after opening the Centre of technical education KGASU that next year Tatarstan plans to prepare 10 000 young men for military specialities. It is meant to prepare draftees for military specialities on the basis of this centre.

More than 130 enterprises and organizations from Tatarstan, Russian regions and abroad took part in XI international specialized exhibition "Energetics. Resource-saving" and X International symposium "Power and resource efficiency and power-saving” in Kazan. Events are being held in exhibition centre “Kazan fair”.

Agreement about cooperation in the sphere of increasing reliability of Unified All-Russian electric network between JSC FSK EES and RT government and agreement about cooperation between RT government and JSC FSK EES on issues of developing RT electrotechnical complex were signed in Kazan Kremlin in presence of Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev.

Tatarstan Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov presented new chief to the staff of RT State alcohol inspection. Igor Marchenko, the former Head of RT federal registration service management has been appointed to this position.

  Prime minister of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov  held today in Almetievsk meeting with heads of small oil-extracting companies of the  republics with  participation of heads of some   republican ministries and departments and  federal structures in Tatarstan.
