The Honorary Consulate of Romania is to open in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The issue was discussed among others at the meeting of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Constantin Grigorie, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the Russian Federation, at the Kazan Kremlin on May 19.

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in meeting with heads of departments of MVD/Police of CIS state participants. Opening of the meeting took place in GTRK “Korston” (Kazan) under chairmanship of RF Minister of interiors Rashid Nurgaliev.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with of federal mass media - guests of Media forum in House of RT government. In the event took part Director general of Federal state unitary enterprise “Russian television and broadcasting network” Aleksey Malinin, Director of directorate of information programs of JSC “Pervy Kanal” Kirill Kleimenov, chief producer of JSC “Pervy Kanal” Andrey Boltenko, deputy director general of IA “Interfax” Nikolay Kasianov, chief editor of Publishing house “Kommersant” Andrey Vasiliev, head and presenter of program “Saturday news” of “Russia” channel Sergey Brilev, director general of ANO “Sport broadcasting” Vasily Kiknadze.

RT Cabinet and Federal state unitary enterprise “Russian television and broadcasting network” signed Agreement on cooperation in the sphere of developing digital TV broadcasting. The procedure took place in House of RT government.

Russian Minister of interiors, General of the Army Rashid Nurgaliev arrived in the capital of Republic Tatarstan. Rashid Nurgaliev was met by RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Minister of interiors on RT Asgat Safarov in international airport “Kazan”.

RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov met with Consul general of Turkish Republic in RT Mr Ahmet Tuta in House of RT government. At the meeting parties discussed expansion of cooperation between Tatarstan and Turkey.

Today, President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in meeting with representatives of Ukrainian business community within official Russian delegation.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov is in Top-40 of heads of Russian regions, who are most often mentioned in central mass media. This fact has been proved by traditional ratings of IA Regnum and company “Medialogia” by results of April, 2010.

Today during a meeting with representatives of Tatar community of Moscow and Moscow region RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov handed state awards to activists of Tatar public organizations. Ten people living in Moscow and Moscow region received high awards.

Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov met with President of investment fund Burrill & Company (USA) Mr Steven Burrill. The meeting was held in building of authorized representative office of Republic Tatarstan in Russian Federation (Moscow).
