Today President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with People’s artist of Russia and Tatarstan Venera Ganeeva in Kazan Kremlin. Head of RT President office Yury Kamaltynov, Acting deputy prime minister - RT Minister of culture Zilya Valeeva attended a meeting likewise.

Interim restriction of traffic on federal and regional highways will be introduced in Republic Tatarstan on April, 15 - May, 14. The main goal of traditional spring traffic restriction is maintenance of roads and road objects in connection with decrease of bearing capacity of roads in spring time.

On April, 25 – September 15 a special plan “Kurort (health resort)” will be realized in a republic. RT Ministry of interior affairs plans to pay a serious attention to places of public recreation, hold operative preventive events on providing security of citizens near water areas, banks of rivers and basins. Besides, the operation “Akvatoria” will be launched with the beginning of bathing season.

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in a session of Council under Russian President on issues of developing physical culture and sport, preparation and holding XXII Olympic winter games, XI Paralympic winter games 2014 in Sochi and XXVII world summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan.

Agreement on set up of Tatarstan International Investment Company has been signed in Kazan, at the House of RT Government. RT President Rustam Minnikhanov and President of group of Islamic Development Bank Mr Akhmad Mukhammad Ali presented at the event.

Mintimer Shaimiev congratulated Rustam Minnikhanov on inauguration as the President of Republic of Tatarstan on behalf of Tatarstan citizens and himself.
