Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov met with Consul general of Turkish Republic in RT Mr Ahmet Tuta

RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov met with Consul general of Turkish Republic in RT Mr Ahmet Tuta in House of RT government. At the meeting parties discussed expansion of cooperation between Tatarstan and Turkey.

Ildar Khalikov stressed that Tatarstan traditionally has close relations with Turkish Republic.

Ahmet Tuta and Ildar Khalikov also discussed issue of increasing the number of flights between Tatarstan and Turkey.

Consul general of Turkish Republic wished to visit special economic zone “Alabuga” and acquaint with conditions of placing business of resident companies on its territory.

Moreover, Mr Ahmet Tuta is willing to visit Kama industrial park “Master” for attracting attention of Turkish companies.

We remind that in May 2010 a festive ceremony of laying the foundation stones of two plants of Turkish companies - a plant for producing sheet glass of «Trakya Cam Sanayii» company (branch of “Sisecam” concern, Turkey), and a plant for producing wood-based panels of «Kastamonu Entegre» company («Hayat» holding) was held on the territory of special economic zone “Alabuga”.
