President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov told heads of federal mass media - guests of Media forum about social and economic situation in republic

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with of federal mass media - guests of Media forum in House of RT government.

In the event took part Director general of Federal state unitary enterprise “Russian television and broadcasting network” Aleksey Malinin, Director of directorate of information programs of JSC “Pervy Kanal” Kirill Kleimenov, chief producer of JSC “Pervy Kanal” Andrey Boltenko, deputy director general of IA “Interfax” Nikolay Kasianov, chief editor of Publishing house “Kommersant” Andrey Vasiliev, head and presenter of program “Saturday news” of “Russia” channel Sergey Brilev, director general of ANO “Sport broadcasting” Vasily Kiknadze.

The key subject for discussion was further cooperation in many projects among Republic Tatarstan, IA “Interfax”, “Russia” channel and leadership of Federal state unitary enterprise “Russian television and broadcasting network”.

Head of Republican agency on press and mass communications “Tatmedia” Marat Muratov reported on realization of projects with participation of federal mass media. He thanked guests for visiting Kazan and support of media forum in Tatarstan. He also expressed hope in respect of Tatarstan becoming a “pilot” region in adoption of digital television and entry into multiplex.

Marat Muratov also informed that project of creating electronic library system has been launched in Tatarstan (“Tatknigafond”, promotion of electronic books in Tatar language). The project was initiated by chief editor of Publishing house “Kommersant” Andrey Vasiliev (head of project “Knigafond”).

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov presented new head of RT government – prime minister Ildar Khalikov to guests of Media Forum. Then he briefly characterized economic situations in Tatarstan.

Director general of ANO “Sport broadcasting” Vasily Kiknadze informed that Russian government plans to sign an edict on creation of high-tech complex for covering sport events of Olympic games 2014in Sochi and Universiade 2013 in Kazan.
